Food in our Educational System
We already explained how fruit makes us healthier physically, mentally and emotionally. All these improvements are directly reflected in the performance of a student. The healthier the student becomes, the easier it is to perform well in any academic endeavor. This is true from kindergarten to post-graduate programs.
Health may not change the personality of a student. If they like art over math, raw vegan and fruit based diets are unlikely to change that. However, raw vegan and fruit based diets are likely to improve the student’s ability to concentrate and think straight. Fruit fuels the brain and hydrates every cell in our body, allowing the student to study longer and more efficiently. A healthy body feels more comfortable, reducing stress and anxiety, while unhealthy bodies are constantly distracted by dehydration, toxicity, and inflammation.
Animal products and processed foods make us tired and cloud our thinking. Fruits and vegetables heal and energize. Refined sugars make kids jump up and down the walls and then crash. Fruits give stable energy that allows people to perform and focus for long periods of time. I noticed this myself when I began practicing fruitarianism. Raw vegan and fruit based diets gave me more energy, comfort, and clarity right from the start, and they continue to have the same effects over the years.
