The Potential of Fruit Based Diets
Despite all the likely complications that might arise from following a fruit-based diet, I still believe it is one of the best diets for humans. We already established that every diet has their benefits and disadvantages, and that there isn’t a single diet that works for everybody. Nonetheless, when we consider all relevant points, we find that fruit based diets are the most beneficial for all living beings on earth, and the most likely to ensure the survival of our species.
Once again, let us be clear, I am not presenting you with a “one diet fits all” type of solution. I am aware that not every human can adopt a fruit-based diet overnight. Some people don’t have access to fruit. Others don’t like the taste of fruit, and the few who dare to try a fruit-based diet may come across detoxification symptoms so intense, that they will be forced to pause, and take a few steps back. Cultural and social barriers are huge challenges and food addictions can be extremely hard to overcome.
As humans evolve, personally and collectively, we are likely to recognize fruit based diets as being closer to our natural human diet, than any other diet available. We are also likely to realize, that these are the best diets for humanity and the environment at large. Again, they might not be the perfect diet for every single person, but they are certainly much better than the Standard American Diet, which kills millions of people and animals every year.
