The Ideal Human Weight
There are several formulas to determine the ideal human weight of a specific individual. These formulas consider sex, age, weight, and height, to determine the ideal weight of each individual. The results are estimates that tend to consider differences in body types.
Body types must be taken into consideration because two people of the same sex, age, and height, might have different ideal weights. It is also important to note that there are ideal weights for health, and ideal weights for different activities. The ideal weight for runners and cyclist will differ from the ideal weight of sumo wrestlers and line backers.
We know that fruit-based diets have helped hundreds of people achieve their desired weight. We also know that 35% of the world’s population is overweight, and following unhealthy diets. This includes North America, where 74% of the population is overweight, and Asia, where 24% of the population is overweight.
