Less Air, More Fruit
A well-known story of a man who achieved the state of Samadhi is that of Guru Nanak. Guru Nanak was the first of the Sikh Gurus, a man born five centuries ago.
The story says that Guru Nanak spent three days inside a river, meditating underwater. Three days later he was seen safely returning to the shore in a state of ultimate bliss. There are similar stories about other yogis, mystics, and Gurus who achieved similar feats.
At this point we must accept that even if these stories and techniques are true, they don’t provide enough motivation for us to attempt reproducing their feat. Perhaps it is possible for humans to live longer than 24 minutes without breathing, but this only seems to be possible by training breath retention under water, or by spending decades in meditation, waiting for a moment of absolute stillness.
Once again, I want to remind everyone, that all I want is for you to Give Fruit a Chance. I am not telling you to stop breathing, just try adding more fruit on your diet. In the meantime, let’s keep exploring how far humans can go with no food, water or air. My guess is that their stories will help you feel more comfortable, about adopting raw vegan and fruit based, while moving away from animal products and processed foods.
