Dealing with Detox Symptoms
Some people are lucky when it comes to detoxification. Maybe they don’t have that many toxins to begin with, or maybe they figure out a way, to have a smooth sail, through the ocean of detoxification symptoms. My ride was a rough, and I can’t say its over.
Some bodies are more toxic. People make mistakes along the way. Some try to detox too quickly, and that sets them back, others take too long to make the appropriate transition.
Dealing with a detox reaction is no joke. Common detox symptoms include bloating, stomach pains, headaches, food cravings, trouble sleeping, nightmares, night sweats, diarrhea, constipation, fatigue, drowsiness and irritability. Effective detoxification is an art, and it is best to seek help, advice, and support, from experts in the field.
When it comes to detoxification, there are many names that stand out. Some of my favorites are Dr. Robert Morse and Dan McDonald. There are other big names like Loren Lockman, who runs a water fast retreat center in Costa Rica.
None of those individuals are perfect. Their clients and students have different experiences, from positive to negative. Many people studying with them have shared their amazing detox stories online. You can find them on YouTube and Facebook groups.
By doing research, you will soon come across your own “detoxification guru”, someone you can trust and learn from. The best way to find this trustworthy person is by looking at their background, their health, the health of their clients, and their students.
Perhaps the most common detoxification symptom is getting a cold. Modern medicine thinks the common cold is caused by bacteria or virus that gets transferred from one person to the next.
That may be true, but other professionals in the health field agree that the common cold is a typical sign of detoxification. Their theory explains that during the detox process, the body releases the mucus that was containing toxins, and protecting them from damaging cells.
There are all sorts of discharges that occur as signs of detoxification. Some of the most intense include intestinal worms, and kidney stones.
