Conscious Cultural Development
These ideas show that cultures that murder animals are worse than cultures who don’t, at least in that department. Ultimately, a society of healthy people is better than a society of sick people. We can color coat it and blow clouds of smoke, but culture is one thing, and truth goes beyond.
Don’t get me wrong, culture is important and has its value. At the same time, it leads to wickedness and wrongdoing. Rightful living, on the other hand, is more meaningful and valuable.
We must realize it is possible to have culture and rightful living at the same time. It is possible to create art, music, comedy, poetry, and indulge in every type of human expression, in a loving, mindful, and sinless way. There is no need to continue supporting wrongful living and the abuse of innocent creatures. We can change for better, it is easier than we think.
Finally, lets make it clear that lack of resources and hunger don’t absolve from misbehaving. If anyone is starving and animals is all they have to eat, they might they have an excuse to feed on their corpses, but it will be nothing more than an excuse.
Those familiar with the Harry Potter books may remember how Lord Voldemort would kill and drink the blood of unicorns to stay alive. Everyone knew this to be an atrocity, but how is it different from killing cows and chickens to stay alive? Are unicorns more deserving of life than fish? Are dogs intrinsically better than pigs? Is human life worth more than animal life? Who are we to decide?
Adopting raw vegan and fruit based diets across cultures improves society immediately, by improving the health of the people around the world. Fruit based diets improve the actions of consumers and producers, it improves our lifestyles and raises our standards of living. They polish our value system and help us aim towards greater goals.
Before we move on, let’s make something clear. There are no bad people in the world, only people doing bad things. It’s best not to judge people, we are only judging their actions.
Some of us have an easier time avoiding animal products. Our environment, upbringing, and personality, are the causes for our current demeanor. At the same time, we are all responsible for our actions, and must make an effort to improve ourselves for the sake of everything in this world. Let’s give ourselves a chance.
