How to Eat
It is always best to eat in a quiet and peaceful environment. Try to avoid distractions during your meals, such as watching TV, or having passionate conversations. Eat slowly, while focusing on your food. Take your time feeling each bite. Savor your food. Avoid multi-tasking during meals, sit down in a comfortable place and eat with gratitude, in your mind, and in your heart.
Whenever possible, try eating with your hands. This will add more sensation to your meals. If you are using bowls, plates and/or utensils, try using wood or other natural materials. It is possible that metal silverware may change the subtle vibration of your food.
If you are going to prepare your food, be sure that the preparation process is performed with the same consciousness as the eating process, peacefully, and with grace. If you choose to eat cooked meals, try to use the least damaging cooking methods. Lightly steamed vegetables are much healthier than deep-fried chicken. It is best to avoid microwaves.
